Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Information Technology Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive IT support and maintenance, including hardware installation, system troubleshooting, and basic website development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Hardware Installation & Maintenance:

Install, configure, and maintain hardware such as surveillance cameras, servers, and computers.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with customers, project managers, or/and other developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Troubleshooting & Debugging:

Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, code, APIs, database schemas, and application features.
Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web development.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience:

IT Support and Troubleshooting:

At least 1-3 years of experience in providing technical support for hardware, software, and networks.
Familiarity with diagnosing and resolving technical issues across different systems.

Hardware Installation and Maintenance:

Hands-on experience installing and maintaining hardware such as servers, computers, and surveillance cameras.
Knowledge of system upgrades, preventive maintenance, and repair processes.

Networking Basics:

Experience in configuring and managing local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
Understanding of IP configurations, firewalls, and system security.

Software Development (Optional but Preferred):

Practical experience with basic website development using Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with frameworks like Express is a plus.

Proficiency in IT Tools:

Experience working with Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Documentation Skills:

Previous experience creating technical documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Customer Service:

Experience in providing excellent IT support to users and collaborating with non-technical teams.

Compensation:

Salary: Provincial Minimum Wage (as per local government regulations).
